So far so good. Both my 3.5 year old and my 10 month old take it easily and seem to have no issues with it. I put my 3.5 year old on it because he is low in Ferritin and the Dr. said to put him on a multivitamin with Iron. The one she prescribed was terrible (terrible ingredients) so I chose this one. When he has a follow-up blood test to check his levels I will update. No issue from either child taking it and both actually seem to like it. Also the color in this “batch” doesn’t give me any issues like some of the other reviews stated. I put it in a medicine syringe and give it to them that way (I don’t like them putting all their germies all over the provided cap+dropper).
Great alternative to polyvisol! It was a battle to get my infant to take her vitamins and I would eventually find stains on her skin after the fact. It smells way better too! The price is double polyvisol but she’s loved taking this since we switched. I give her two 0.5ml doses before bedtime and it’s like a treat to her, she enjoys it so much.
We have purchased and discarded several pediatric multivitamins and this one is a keeper! Let’s be honest, most taste like chalk and blood. I can’t blame my one year old for making a fuss and spitting it out because I try everything I give her myself. This brand isn’t bad at all! It’s not particularly enjoyable to consume but my one year old will actually take it so that makes it a winner in our house.
My doctor recommended Polyvisol for my 12-month olds iron deficiency and loss of appetite, at first she was throwing it up, and then just trying to spit it out; she hated that stuff. She loves novaferrum though, and I feel like her appetite has been finally picking up after only a few days of switching.
My 5 year old is as picky as it gets and refuses EVERYTHING, feeding time is torture, never mind supplements and medications. I read all the reviews and thought I’d give this a try and I’m so glad I did.
I’m so amazed my son actually takes this on a daily basis and has no idea! I definitely recommend this to all those kidos in need of supplements and have refused all other options (like my son did).
I’ve always struggled with getting my kids to take medications/supplements, but this one must actually taste good because she takes it willingly since she was 8 months old (now 18 months). I do give it to her in the bath as it does stain clothes. The smell is off putting to me but doesn’t seem to bother her at all.
I was unsure about purchasing this for my daughter because I normally use Zarbees but I was forced to try something else due to the fact I can’t find it anywhere. My daughter is a very picky eater and does not like to take meds (vitamins) but she likes this brand just as much as she does Zarbee’s. We tried other supplements with no luck and I am happy to find another multivitamin she likes.
Fantastic product. Around 9 mos, my daughter had slightly low hemoglobin levels, but I didn’t want to feed her rice cereal, so I bought this. Her levels are right where they should be now and she loves the taste! She thinks it’s a “treat”.
Great product, I am so greatful for this product right here I’ll purchase more when this one is finished, really helped as my 2 yr old daughter does not eat a lot but this really helps. I like that she getting her nutrients now. Thanks!! lol my daughter refuse to take anything so I just put it in her drink and she has no idea. Lol!! Not suppose to do that but it’s multivitamin. This is an excellent product for infants. A little thick for my 5 month old but can be mixed with breast milk or formula to thin out a little. I like the taste. She is ok with the taste and since she has not yet started solids that is good enough for me! You can taste the iron in it but that will be the case with any iron supplement. I feel great about giving it to her because it has no artificial flavors, colorings and preservatives. Was looking for alternative to polyvisol (she projectile vomits this) and at the other end of the spectrum, natural products that contain way too many ingredients (no one needs every possible nutrient in one product!). Will buy again!
Works great for my little one! The only reason I gave these vitamins 4 stars instead of 5 is because the vitamins stain if my little one drools shortly after taking them. I’ve begun to give them to him while he’s in the bath to prevent this.
I give this to my now 4 month old and he drinks it without making any faces. I add this to breast milk in a bottle and the milk dilutes the sweet taste. It is good to give just as a supplement as well. I tried the emfamil drops and they tasted and smelled horrible. My son would spit it out every time. I was worried when I bought this if it would work and now I am highly satisfied with my purchase. Will continue buying it.
Baby (13 months now) is happy to open up and take her vitamins! After each day’s dose, she looks at the bottle expectantly as I put it away, as if she wants more. This is in sharp contrast with her friend (same age) that simply refuses to open his mouth for the Enfamil multi. Yes, it could just be a difference in personalities, but it seems like I’m not the only one who’s baby digs the flavor of this. Great stuff!
I got this to my son who was at that time 13 Months old. His Dr recommended Poly-Vi-Sol but it taste awful and it was always a fuss trying to give him his daily doses. Big game change after trying this brand because my son it’s willing to take it without any fuss. I totally recommend this product, it doesn’t stink and the flavor it’s as advertised.

It has a good amount of iron, as well as some other essential vitamins (A, E D and some Bs). I just wish it was a more comprehensive multivitamin. That said, the most important thing is that it has iron and doesn’t taste terrible- so that alone is earning a 5 star rating from me. I’m a happy mama! 🙂
